Join us for a discussion led by representatives from Elections BC and the Parliamentary Education Office about free resources and programs designed to teach future voters about voting, democracy and our parliamentary system. We will also welcome ideas from educators on what resources they would like to have available to them that relate to these topics.

    Melanie Callas is the Outreach Coordinator at Elections BC. As the Outreach Coordinator, she helps plan public education projects and create resources for voters and those who will become eligible to vote so they have the information and knowledge they need to vote.

  • Luba Lisun

    Luba Lisun is with the Parliamentary Education Office of the Legislative Assembly of BC which offers a number of educational programs and learning resources focused on parliamentary democracy, the development of our present governance structures and the history of the Parliament Buildings. Programs are offered for a number of different grade levels and teachers are invited to the BC Teachers’ Institute held each year.
