Information literacy in teaching and learning

Information literacy is the ability to discover, evaluate, use needed information. We use information literacy when we find accurate health information, note bias or misleading claims, place information in context, or search strategically for information we need. In this interactive workshop, attendees will learn about concept of information literacy, tools for building information literacy, and applications for professional practice.
